Meet the Artist

Mikey grew up with his head in fantasy novels and his hands on a controller. He came to painting the way most people come to things they love — obsessively and a little late.

His work is abstract, expressive, and dark in ways he doesn't always plan. He paints because there are things he can't say any other way — and because after years of thinking too much about everything, creating art is the one place where he doesn't have to think at all.

Nerd by birth, artist by choice. He still reads too much.
